i still use ALShow as my preferred movie player.Dinkar Kamat Updated 5 months ago A free alternative to Windows Media Player but, this is maybe 1 percent of the time. to me, KMPlayer 'looks cooler', and occasionally I've had to use it (or VLC) for random files when ALShow has had problems. i was using ALShow and loving it when VLC was the most highly praised media player and before KMPlayer came close to being o n the scene.the majority of features that are offered in KMPlayer are also offered in ALShow (changing brightness, recording from video being played, jumping forward or back in small, medium, or larger time increments, playing pretty much any type of video format including DVD's), but in some cases ALShow is more customizable (how far ahead jumps in time are from shortcut keys).
