If you want to find all objects in the artwork with red outlines, you would use the “Outline” tab and select “Outline Properties”. This allows the user to select specific objects that possess’ special effect setting.įrom the tabs above you will need to specify which setting you will distinguish your objects by. This is the last tab, its called the “Special Effects” tab. It allows the user to find specific objects by their outline settings. This next tab is arguably the most used tab within the Search Feature. This tab will find any objects in the artwork with a specific fill setting. The next available tab is the “Fill” tab. This tab is still useful to find a big group of objects. This is usually not very specific enough, so using one of the other tabs will be necessary. In this tab you can use the search feature to search for specific object types in your artwork. This is the new window you will be greeted with. Making sure “Begin new search” is selected, press “Next” to continue. Once you have done that, you will be greeted with this dialog box.
